Mr. Arunabha Sengupta is a first class B.E. (civil) from Jadavpur University in 1969. He is a competent professional with 39 years experience in projects with prestigious organizations like Indian Oil Corporation, Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority & Housing Directorate Govt. of West Bengal.

Mr. Sengupta has a vast experience of petrochemical pipelines likes Salaya – Mathura, Mathura – Jullundhar, Koyali – Viramgam – Sidhpur – Sanganer, Chennai – Trichy – Madurai, Sonepath – Meerut Branch line, Kurukshetra – Roorkee – Nazibabad, Mathura – Tundla, Panipat – Rewari, Bagsuri – Ajmer, Chittorgarh Branch, Koyali – Dahej, Paradip – Haldia, Crude oil, Chennai ATF, Bangalore ATF, Koyali – Ratlam, Chennai – Bangalore, Panipat – Jullundhar and Dadri – Panipat pipelines. In a addition he was coordinator for Bombay – Pune pipeline project for HPCC, Large Tank farm, pipeline O&M & Installation works.

He was the leader for revision of Code for Design & Construction requirements for Cross country pipeline – OISD Standard 141, and Inspection of cross – country pipelines – onshore – OISD standard 138. He is a member Standards Working group for Code of Practice for Horizontal Directional Drilling Technique (HDD) suiting Indian condition, IndSTT: 101-2007.
