Mr. Sanjay Rana is a geophysicist working in the field of engineering geophysics for last 15 years. Mr Rana passed out in 1990 from University of Roorkee, now IIT Roorkee, in M Tech (Applied Geophysics), as Gold Medalist. Mr Rana started his career with UP State Government and carried out extensive well logging operations including radio active loggings. Mr Rana also worked briefly as Scientist C with Department of Atomic Energy.

Mr Rana started working in the field of engineering geophysics in the year 1995. He has been instrumental in starting full fledged operations in private sector providing services like seismic refraction, ground penetrating radar, electrical tomography, seismic tomography etc. He has to his credit introducing for the first time in country various leading technologies and making them popular in the user industry.

Mr Rana is invited regularly for training geophysicists on latest techniques by Central Ground Water Board. He is also invited as trainer for GPR applications by companies located abroad, and has conducted trainings in Singapore, Saudi Arab, and Kuwait.
